Richard Mazombwe
BAcc, FCCA

A Chartered Accountant with over 37 years’ experience in the accountancy and consulting professions gained across industries in Zambia, Malawi and Botswana. Since 2010 has focused on leadership development and corporate governance.

He is a non-executive director in a number of companies. Richard was the Senior Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Zambia from 2003 to 2010. A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants he graduated from the University of Zambia in 1981 with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree.

Kenneth Mapingire
B.B.S, MBA
(UZ),Diploma Marketing Management (IMM)

Kenneth was appointed Managing Director of National Breweries Plc on 1 July 2022. He first joined the group in the then Chibuku Breweries Division in 1997 and left in 2003 to pursue his career interests with other FMCG businesses in Zimbabwe and Malawi. He re-joined the group in 2013 and held senior positions in Commercial and Operations for the Sorghum Beer business. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director, he was Regional Manager for the Northern Region in the Sorghum beer division of Delta Beverages.

He has extensive experience in the FMCG sector spanning over 30 years across Southern Africa in senior roles.Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree as well as Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Zimbabwe. He holds a post graduate diploma in Marketing Management from the Institute of Marketing Management (IMM) (South Africa).

Ackim Lupempu Chalwe
BAcc, FCCA

Ackim holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accountancy from the University of Zambia and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
Ackim has over 30 years’ experience covering external auditing, internal audit and financial management, that started with Deloitte & Touche Zambia and later with Deloitte & Touche Botswana. In between his Deloitte Botswana career, which was from 1995 to 1999, Ackim worked for the central bank of Botswana (Bank of Botswana). later, he served as Chief Financial Officer for FNB Botswana and member of the board till 2018 to FNB Zambia. More recently Ackim served as the Chief Executive Officer of Micro Finance Zambia Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlas Mara Bank from 2021 to 2022. He is currently the Managing Partner of ALC Business Consulting Limited.

Natasha Chiumya
AHCZ; MBA

Together with her partner, Natasha established Zambia’s first niche practice law firm, Folotiya & Chiumya, specialising exclusively in corporate and commercial mat- ters. She has extensive experience in business climate reform having worked with bi- lateral and multilateral donors as wellas the Government of Zambia, through the Ministry of Commerce Trade and Industry. Her legal experience as in-house counsel for PricewaterhouseCoopers covered a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.

Having built a significant property development practice within the law firm, she is the founder of Diaspora Connect Limited which is aimed at revolutionising the way Zambians abroad buy property back home. Natasha holds an honours degree in law from the University of Warwick, UK and as a former Beit fellow, has a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cape Town, South Africa

Matlhogonolo Mothibedi Valela B Tech (Accounts),
CA(Z)

Matlhogonolo is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Delta Corporation Limited since 1 July 2021. He previously held the position of Executive Director – Finance from June 2011 until assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer on 1 April 2021.
He joined the Delta in December 1996 as an Accountant at the then National Breweries Division. He has occupied various roles of increasing seniority operational finance and accounting, becoming the Group Treasurer in 2003.
He sits on the boards of the Company’s subsidiary companies and associates; African Distillers, Nampak Zimbabwe, National Breweries Plc Zambia, United National Breweries (RSA) and Schweppes Holdings Africa.

Tichafa Rinomhota
B.Sc Eng (UZ)

Tichafa was appointed the Operations Director for Delta Corporation Limited. He was most recently the General Manager – Lager Beer division, having been in the same capacity for the Sorghum Beer division since April 2017.

He joined Delta in 1999 as Engineering Manager at the then National Breweries Division and rose through the ranks to become General Manager – Technical in 2007 and subsequently Technical Director of the group between 2011 and 2017.

Previously he worked for several mining and construction companies.

Simbarashe Banga
B. Comm (Hons) Accounting (NUST), Hons, B. Compt (UNISA), ACCA

Simbarashe was appointed Finance Director on 1 July 2022.
He started his career with Deloitte & Touche Chartered Accountants (Zimbabwe) where he served clients over a cross section of industries over twelve (12) years before joining the Delta Beverages as a Finance Manager in August 2017 at the Lager business unit. He was appointed Finance Executive in April 2018.
Simbarashe holds an Honours in Accounting Science from the University of South Africa as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Honours major in Accounting from the National University of Science and Technology. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and served as a member of the ACCA Network Panel in Zimbabwe.
